À TABLE — EDITORIAL FOOD ILLUSTRATION

I would never put ketchup on my food. It ruins it. But I like the judgement even less than the ketchup. À TABLE is about how selectively we police what others eat, and what we do ourselves when no one is looking.

PROCESS
The illustration begins with loose sketches to establish gesture and attitude.
From there the drawing is refined into minimal lines and a limited color palette to keep the image bold, graphic, and immediate.
