What if we looked back to move forward together? SANKOFA & EUROPA grew from my sadness and frustration while watching people arriving in Europe being treated as strangers. I kept wondering why we so often focus on difference instead of asking what we might learn from one another — and what we might share. Inspired by the idea of Sankofa, the project reflects on the value of looking back, remembering our roots and carrying knowledge from the past into the future.
